TUNA Warmly Welcomes 2024 Chemical Engineering Students from Shaoxing University for Summer Internship

To deepen industry-academia collaboration and support talent development, Zheiiang TUNA Environmental ScienceTechnology Co.,Ltd. recently hosted a summer internship of freshmen (Class of 2024) from the School of Chemical Engineering at Shaoxing University. Senior executives, including Deputy General Manager Cheng Xinquan, R&D Center Director Li Zhefei, and HR Deputy Manager Wang Weifeng, led the activities, offering students a hands-on learning platform through corporate culture sessions, technical workshops, policy briefings, and facility tours.

 

Deputy General Manager Cheng Xinquan extended a warm welcome to the faculty and students, and provided a comprehensive introduction to TUNA's development history, core businesses, and industry contributions. He delivered an insightful explanation of the R&D process and application scenarios of the company's core technological products, showcasing TUNA's innovative achievements in fields such as catalysts and flue gas purification. He emphasized that the environmental protection industry requires interdisciplinary talents with versatile skills, encouraging students to strengthen their professional foundation and cultivate problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, he reiterated that TUNA remains committed to its mission of "Technology for Blue Skies and Clean Water," focusing on technological R&D and equipment manufacturing in areas such as air pollution control, solid waste recycling, and new energy. HR Deputy Manager Wang Weifeng, provided students with an insightful analysis of the current employment landscape and policies for university graduates. Guided by the company's technical staff, the students toured TUNA's laboratories and production workshops.
